Yvonne Delaney brings educational leadership and supply chain expertise as Judge for National Procurement Awards 2026

Yvonne Delaney's career spans a range of high-profile organisations where she held several senior positions including Financial Accountant and Global Supply Chain Manager, bringing deep operational and strategic expertise to the National Procurement Awards 2026 judging panel.

Since joining the University of Limerick in 2006, Yvonne has established herself as a specialist in professional education and supply chain management development. As Course Director for the entire Supply Chain Pathway across UL, she shapes how supply chain managers are educated and developed across executive, middle, and front-line management levels.

Her teaching and learning approach is grounded in problem-based learning, ensuring that professional education directly addresses real-world supply chain challenges. Working in close partnership with industry leaders, Yvonne identifies emerging development needs and leads the design and delivery of bespoke Supply Chain Management programmes tailored to organisational requirements.

As Operations Director at Grove Institute, Yvonne drives strategic direction through fostering and expanding both internal and external professional networks, recruiting talent, and identifying emerging supply chain management development trends and partnership opportunities with industry across Ireland and internationally.

Her research focuses on the development of managers, reflecting a commitment to advancing leadership capability within the supply chain profession. As President of IPICS, the Supply Chain Management Institute, Yvonne shapes policy, standards, and professional development across Ireland's supply chain community.
