Vertice, the UK-based AI procurement platform, has acquired Vendr, the US software pricing platform, combining agentic workflows, AI-powered insights and expert buying talent to help finance and procurement teams across 100+ countries operate with greater precision and speed. The acquisition creates a comprehensive procurement intelligence dataset uniting Vertice's spend data with Vendr's software pricing and market insights.

Tech.eu reported that the combined platform processes over $75 billion in spend data across 32,000 vendors, including real-world pricing and human interactions from 250,000 negotiated contracts spanning software to services. The dataset integration enables customers including ARM, Brex, Duolingo, Twilio and Santander to access procurement benchmarks and market insights directly within the Vertice platform.

Vertice's platform delivers 20 per cent+ savings and accelerates procurement cycles by two times through AI-driven purchasing decisions. The acquisition strengthens capabilities by integrating Vendr's software pricing benchmarks with Vertice's broader procurement intelligence, enabling more informed vendor evaluation and negotiation planning.

Roy Tuvey, founder and chief executive of Vertice, said: "Vertice and Vendr have shared a vision for AI in procurement: to build purpose-designed AI agents trained on real-world data and tailored to specific procurement use cases. By bringing these teams together, we can accelerate everything, from the breadth of agents we can build, to the commercial impact we deliver for customers."

Ryan Neu, chief executive of Vendr, stated: "Vendr was founded on a simple observation: buyers were making million-dollar purchasing decisions with only a fraction of the information available to the vendor across the table. I'm proud of what we built independently, and even more excited about what our two organisations can build together."
