H&Z Group has expanded its procurement technology capabilities through the acquisition of German procurement digitalisation specialist Jupitos, strengthening its ability to deliver end-to-end procurement transformation services across Europe.
Reported by Consultancy.uk, the acquisition enhances H&Z's expertise in procurement technology implementation, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, reflecting growing demand from organisations seeking more integrated procurement solutions.
Founded in 1997, H&Z Management Consulting provides advisory services across strategy, procurement, transformation and sustainability. The addition of Jupitos increases the group's workforce to more than 850 employees and builds on previous collaboration between the two organisations on client projects.
Jupitos specialises in procurement digitalisation and implementation services, particularly for the Ivalua procurement platform. Its team brings technical expertise in deploying digital procurement solutions for organisations operating across the DACH region and international markets.
According to H&Z, the acquisition strengthens its ability to support clients throughout the full procurement lifecycle, combining strategic procurement advice with technology implementation and AI-enabled procurement capabilities.
Harald Enz, Managing Partner at H&Z, said clients increasingly expect organisations to deliver both procurement strategy and technical implementation, making deeper digital expertise an important part of future service delivery.
Jupitos will continue operating under its existing brand while benefiting from H&Z's broader international consulting network. The combined business aims to offer clients an expanded range of procurement management services, from strategic planning through to technology deployment and execution.
The acquisition reflects wider investment across the procurement sector as organisations accelerate digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, strengthen procurement management and support more data-driven decision-making.
As procurement functions continue evolving, investment in procurement technology and specialist implementation expertise is becoming an increasingly important component of procurement innovation, helping organisations modernise processes while delivering greater value across the supply chain.
