Osage LLC and its business units in the United States can now post procurement requests directly on the Osage Nation's official procurement website, creating new contracting opportunities for Osage and Native-owned businesses. The US-based initiative, announced from Pawhuska, Oklahoma, is designed to strengthen Native entrepreneurship and retain economic activity within Osage Nation territories.

Indian Gaming revealed that the expanded platform allows qualified contractors to access current solicitations and submit bids for work and goods across Osage LLC and its subsidiaries. The move connects Osage LLC's purchasing activities with the Osage Nation's broader economic development objectives whilst supporting transparency in procurement processes.

The Osage Nation procurement website provides a centralised platform for businesses to engage with contracting opportunities across the tribal commercial enterprise. By opening its procurement pipeline to more Osage and Native contractors, Osage LLC aims to support small business growth and job creation within Native communities.

Russell Goff, chief executive of Osage LLC, said: "This is about building opportunity in the Osage Nation, where it matters the most. By opening our procurement pipeline to more Osage and Native contractors, we're supporting small business growth, creating jobs, and reinforcing a stronger, more self-sustaining Osage economy."

The platform is intended to increase participation from Native-owned businesses in Osage LLC's supply chain whilst creating a more structured approach to contractor engagement. The initiative reflects growing efforts across Native American tribal nations to leverage procurement as an economic development tool.

Osage LLC operates as the commercial arm of the Osage Nation, one of the federally recognised tribal governments in the United States. The organisation's procurement activities span multiple business units and sectors across Oklahoma.
