ASMO, the joint venture between Saudi Aramco Development Company and DHL, has officially launched its procurement services for general supply materials, issuing its first purchase orders for Aramco in July 2025. This milestone marks a critical step in ASMO’s 15-year strategic agreement with Aramco, reinforcing efforts to localize and modernize Saudi Arabia’s supply chains in line with Vision 2030.

The rollout includes the start of operations at ASMO’s second warehouse in the Jazan Refinery Complex. The facility, now under ASMO’s management, supports Aramco’s downstream and terminal operations and is designed to boost inventory responsiveness and resilience across the supply chain.

"We’re laying the foundation for a new era to transform and revolutionize supply chains," said Sulaiman M. Al Rubaian, SVP of Procurement & Supply Chain Management at Aramco.

ASMO’s integrated supply chain model will scale through 2027, with phases covering MRO, drilling, chemicals, and project materials. Future plans include a digital B2B procurement marketplace and over 8 million square meters of warehousing capacity by 2030.
