Best Risk Management Award

This award will go to the company whose procurement function is successfully helping their organisation to manage risk using advanced techniques, processes, and technology.

The judges will be looking for companies who are effectively managing business risk to safeguard their organisation’s operations and supply chain and who has been delivering on their core objectives within the last 12 months. The judges would like to see how organisations are successfully managing risk using advanced techniques, processes, and technology.

Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying particular attention to the criteria listed below.

• Organisation Background: Please provide a brief description of the organisation and the procurement function within the organisation, including team and organisational structure.

• Strategy Outline: Outline your procurement/supply chain risk management strategy, how it was developed, and outline the business needs that prompted it.

• Implementation: Provide an overview of how the strategy has been implemented, including any challenges faced and how the team worked together to overcome them.

• Innovation: Please include details of any unique efforts or processes that have been employed; including advanced techniques, processes, and technology; demonstrating how innovation helped the outcome.

• Outcomes & Results: Highlight the outcomes of your strategy and its implementation. Provide evidence of how the success of the strategy was measured.

• Include any other facts or statements that you feel are relevant to support the entry.
